You do not need a referral to initiate treatment as Maine is a direct access state.  However, having a referral is helpful when going through insurance.

After you have reached out inquiring about services we will work together to set up a time for an evaluation.  This will allow us to assess your child's needs, develop a treatment plan and work with you to establish goals.  During this time it allows you to ask any other additional questions regarding services or treatment. 

Services are provided at the clinic most convenient for you.  During each session your therapist will go over what skills and activities are being worked on and provide activities for you to work on at home
